I just got back from testing the Elan 310 with Fjord Sail and Seilmagasinet in Poole. Great trip, where we met up with Jim, who is a pilot in Poole as well as a long-time Elan sailor. We got to test the 310 in varying conditions, starting at about 15 knots and increasing somewhat throughout the day.
Seilmagasinet are doing a "first impression/on board" review from this trip, so stay tuned for information about the issue, or check out their website.
The boat amazed me, and I must say I think this will be a contender for the sporty 30-32 foot market, and even for those who are thinking about a bigger boat because of the performance.
We even got to meet up with Rob Humphreys and his design team (and had a traditional english christmas lunch), which was awesome.

We are still waiting on the promissed pictures :) (particularly as I'm quite interested to hear more about the impressions too on this nice boat)
