The video did not show any results in who was faster on all points of the wind
Will the results of the comparison be published soon
Were you on the boat at the time
and what were your thoughts of the whole process

Hi.

I was not on the boat for the tests, but the Norwegian distributor Fjord Sail was.

The results are always somewhat more "political" once they make their way into the magazine, but from what I could tell (and disclose) it seems that the 310 was one of the fastest on the reaches and runs (the Sun Fast 3200 "Optimila" was pretty fast and has been sailed a lot for a couple of years already). Tackling headwind was much more varied since the helmsmen/women varied a great deal in terms of handling these boats.

The 310 points just as high and maintains great target speeds, but requires a focused helmsman. This was no different for the other, similar boats, but the older designs are a bit more forgiving.

More results as soon as I get my hands on more data. The "Seilas" publication and the swedish "Segling" will release the article in an upcoming issue....
